In this role you will drive sales and create an effective sales funnel. This role involves lead generation, sales strategy execution, and optimizing customer acquisition pipelines. You will work closely with marketing, applications, and operations teams to identify opportunities, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Your Role at ONI:

  • Optimize sales funnel to effectively move leads through the buying journey.
  • Engage potential and existing customers to identify their needs and offer solutions.
  • Identify prospective customers in academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
  • Convert leads from Marketing generated via online enquiries and post event follow-ups to sales qualified opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and develop strategies to increase conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel.
  • Engage and present ONI’s solutions to prospective customers.
  • Coordinate and deploy Field Application Team to ensure successful demonstrations of ONI’s technology and products to prospective customers.
  • Track and analyze sales funnel performance metrics to identify areas for improvement .
  • Execute appropriate closing strategies as designed together with sales leadership.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for potential customers.
  • Respond to inquiries via email, phone, or website forms.
  • Follow up with prospects and nurture relationships before passing them to applications team.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and logistics updates in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Generate reports on sales performance, funnel effectiveness, and logistics efficiency.
  • Keep constant communication with existing customers, working closely with operations team to manage customer satisfaction

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related fields
  • Proven experience in inside sales, sales funnel management, and logistics coordination.
  • Clear understanding of sales funnels, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes, order fulfillment, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and logistics data.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales, customer success, and operational efficiency.
