Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.
As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Indirect Buyer to join our Supply Chain Team to take ownership of key indirect spend areas including facilities, IT and business services. We are looking for a commercially astute, delivery-focused individual to join us to focus on improving commercial control, contract robustness and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of indirect spend categories including facilities, IT and services, ensuring effective commercial control and supplier performance
Lead and deliver sourcing activities, including RFQs, negotiations and contract placement, with a focus on securing robust pricing, terms and service level agreements (SLAs)
Review existing supplier contracts and address gaps in commercial terms, SLAs and governance structures
Establish and implement appropriate supplier management practices, including performance tracking and regular reviews
Act as the primary procurement interface for internal stakeholders for indirect procurement
Manage the supplier panel for calibration and other direct enabling services, ensuring capability, compliance and cost competitiveness
Work closely with Engineering and Quality to ensure suppliers meet technical and regulatory requirements
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, particularly around single-source suppliers and service continuity
Drive a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to procurement in a fast-paced environment.
Support the development of fit-for-purpose procurement processes and governance aligned to business growth.
Skills and experience required:
CIPS Level 4 or equivalent in experience.
Previous experience in Procurement or Purchasing, with a solid commercial foundation
Proven ability to negotiate contracts and challenge suppliers on pricing and terms
Experience reviewing or implementing contracts and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ability to work independently and grow into ownership of indirect procurements
Confident stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and commercial judgement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A flexible approach to work
Ability to bring a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to the team
Desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
UK driving license and ability to travel
