Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.

Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.

As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high-integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the team to develop and drive project plans for multiple customers through to completion against agreed budgets and deadlines. Reporting to our Head of PMO, you will provide the bridge between the customer and internal engineering teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the internal primary focal point for project status

  • Build and maintain a cross-functional project plan in MS Project

  • Ensure project milestones align with customer and regulatory requirements

  • Drive daily execution across the entire organisation to ensure timely delivery

  • Define and monitor project KPIs, providing mitigating plans to return to target

  • Translate customer requirements into actionable internal plans

  • Motivate and drive internal teams to deliver the agreed plan

  • Define, implement and administer the communications strategy

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and teamwork

  • Coordinate all aspects of the project plan, assigning task ownership

  • Regularly report on project status, including: resource consumption, KPIs, risks, issues, and mitigation plans

  • Identify and manage programme risks, dependencies, and critical paths, tracking mitigating actions across the organisation

  • Support compliance with aerospace standards

  • Ensure configuration control and documentation discipline

  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and up-issue PM processes, gaining team buy-in

  • Contribute to building the company’s project management framework

  • Ensure company best practices are followed for the function and project; identifying gaps and updating processes as required.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous proven Project Management experience within the aerospace industry

  • A proven track record of project delivery, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations

  • Demonstrated track record of interfacing with engineering teams

  • Experience managing OEM customers both technically and commercially to ensure costs, delivery, and quality are always clear

  • Good awareness and application of project management best practices, tools and techniques

  • Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach

  • A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment

  • Ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, practised in negotiation and presentations

  • UK driving license and ability to travel.

Desirable:
