Evolito
Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.
Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.
As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Senior Test & Verification Technician to join the team to support the development of Evolito’s motors, controllers and electric drive systems towards certification under the guidelines of RTCA DO-160G.
Key responsibilities will include:
Setup of test control system configuration in accordance with the test requirements
Operating test rigs such as dynos, vibration/shaker, EMC and HALT/HASS chambers to test cutting-edge electrical motors, controllers and electric drive systems
Supporting test programs conducted at external test facilities
Training junior team members on safe use of laboratory equipment and participate in commissioning of new equipment and capability in order to disseminate learning to wider team
Champion test processes including pre-test assessments to ensure test readiness covering technical, operational and safety considerations
Supporting Engineers in the creation of test cases and procedures to meet project objectives
Conducting pre-defined data analysis and use pre-existing analysis tools (eg. MATLAB & Python scripts)
