Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of around 100 world-class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers working across three offices in the UK and one in the US, building the future of advanced metal components. We use proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling, as well as extensive experimental facilities, to 3D print metal components better and faster than anyone else.
At our premises in Seattle, WA we are aiming to build the world’s fastest, smartest, and best-equipped facility to produce additively manufactured parts for the aerospace and industrial sectors.
Alloyed is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team in Seattle. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our advanced manufacturing facility, with a primary focus on managing documentation, supporting quality compliance, and coordinating administrative processes in a regulated production environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace setting, especially within the framework of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards.
You will be based at our facility in South Seattle. Training will be provided where required (some travel may be required).
- Support day-to-day operations by managing build documentation, shipping records, quality documentation, and general administrative tasks to ensure efficient and accurate production workflows.
- Handle invoicing, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, and change orders, while maintaining clear and professional communication with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate internal records and support the preparation, documentation, and review processes required by AS9100D aerospace quality standards.
- Act as a central point of contact between engineers and vendors to align technical requirements, monitor timelines, and ensure seamless coordination.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of work procedures to drive continuous improvement, safety, and organization in the production environment.

- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with precision manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100-certified manufacturing environment, with an understanding of audit readiness and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), including maintaining controlled documents, records retention, and supporting internal audits.
- Proficiency in document control processes such as issuing, revising, and archiving procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Exposure to engineering or production documentation such as travelers, route cards, build reports, inspection logs, and supplier certifications.
